Joan He is really good at setting up a plot that leaves you guessing and makes you need to know more. This little excerpt does just that. I want to know more about where they are, how they got into this position, and most importantly, what is going to happen now. Clearly Zephyr thinks she's in control, but I don't think things will go the way she's planning. I'm very interested in where this fake defection all leads.
