This book starts with putting you right in the action. I like the cover of the book, but I really love the front matter with the map and drawings. I also really enjoyed the stanza before the main part of the book started. The book has a lot of action right up front which made it hard for me to follow as I didn’t yet know the characters. This style will work for others but I don’t think it works for me.
