I read a lot of fantasy, so I was excited to take a look at this novel with its Asian influences. Maybe it's a story that needs more than 30 pages to get into. I couldn't get interested in the characters Zephyr, Cloud, Thunder and others, and those are how I usually get drawn in. The ruthlessness of the main characters bothered me. It might not have, if I'd seen another side of them, too. If you like a lot of action right from the get go, this might be the book for you. The cover art looked like something that might be on a YA novel.
