After just reading the first impression, I am left feeling like I was dropped in the middle of the story without any background. Perhaps if I read past the first impression I would gain an understanding for what is going on. It gives me a vague feeling of Mulan- The main characters friendships with some in her group and the one she has conflict with and the battles around it all.
