I've been loving the trend of Asian fantasy in YA literature. For this book, I loved how the opening pages included a list of characters and their association by region. The artwork and map included are absolutely beautiful! This story started in the middle of the action, and while the first few lines show some of the characterizations of our main character, I'm lost a little bit as the story begins.
