I've never read Joan He's novels before but was captivated by this first look as she takes on an epic YA Fantasy, I'm intrigued to learn more about the politics and strategy of the world she's built. Zephyr's voice was strong in the first few chapters, eager to learn more about her. I'm a sucker for immersive world-building, which has me so interested in learning about the realm she lives in. Strike The Zither looks to be a fascinating fantasy novel, which also takes inspiration as a reimagining, which I can't wait to read more about!
