Strike the Zither is an inventive and engrossing start to a new fantasy series that reimagines the Chinese classic tale of the Three Kingdoms. As a big fan of Joan He’s writing, I was so excited to start this. The cover is absolutely lovely.
The book is set during the Xin Dynasty, during a period of unrest and a puppet government. Our heroine, Zephyr, is thrown into the middle of the chaos. It’s a gripping read and I can’t wait to read more!
