Once again I've been persuaded into redeeming my points by such a wonderful excerpt! It's been a while since a book has hooked me so quickly, but this one certainly did! The characters are already 3-dimensional and I love that the novel is from the point of view of a strategist. I haven't read anything by Joan He yet, but Strike the Zither seems promising!
