I have read other books about mindfulness in the past. I think this is one of the best that is being sold today. The author, Cory Muscara, does an excellent job of guiding anyone who reads this into various forms of mindfulness and meditation. He also fills in with tidbits about people he has worked with and how it has helped them in their lives.

I have read about some of the ideas he presents here in the past. For me this book was a welcome refresher of some things I already know and a good way to add new ideas to my practice. One of the most important ideas, that I have to admit I have trouble with, is to learn to sit with difficult situations instead of running away from them. As we use this practice more, it becomes easier to deal with the hard times.

Overall, I feel this is a good book for beginners and those who are more experienced. I recommend it.
