I blame myself for not finishing this one. When I read the first look, I thought it was a really great tone for a self help book. It wasn't too preachy, and it was relatable. I think I just never picked it back up because it is, in fact, a self help book.

The self help genre has never been for me, and I haven't even tried to read this one once since it has sat on my shelf for all this time. I don't think I'll ever pick it up and try to read it for real.

I do like the colors in the cover a lot, and I think it's not marketed like so many other self help books are, which I really appreciate, but I think it boils down to the same thing, which is that the book is a guide on how to meditate and be present. The way it goes about this is very in line with what I'd expect from a typical self-help book.

I truly do hope this people can help people be more present in their lives and meditate and achieve happiness. I just don't think it would get me there.
