What a relevant, well timed read!

This immediately caught my eye, and not just because of the beautifully done cover! As a therapist, it is often apparent to me through working with my clients, that this reaching of "presence" seems to be in general simplified terms what most of us are wanting. It shows up not only in the ways we try to seek connections, in how we make meaning with what is going on in the world and the things that happen to us--and it is also something that is very scary to fully immerse yourself into when avoidance is so often experienced as "safer" when it prevents us from getting hurt, but the very thing that prevents us from experiencing life in the way that we need to!
