I read the first four 'first impressions' of this book and thought, "Why waste my time?" Then I figured I could at least skim through and give it an honest go.
I'm glad I did, because the author gives a candid and witty introduction. I didn't skim, but read it in its entirety, and sank into his conversational narration. I really enjoyed his outlook.
The cover is lackluster, but I found the writing approachable, entertaining, and genuine.
