Eases You Into Being Mindful
Reading about Cory's journey about becoming more present made him relatable and credible. I liked how he talked about wanting to be happy and decided to not pursue a career in economics because it wasn't the path for him. I have tried meditating off and on, but when I feel busy or tired I am very bad about staying consistent. The book seems more sincere about meeting people where they are at in mindfulness and recognizes that forming small positive habits will still make a positive impact. I feel less intimidated about meditating after hearing from someone relatable. This book would be a good companion for someone learning to meditate or maybe just trying to enhance the curves and edges on their life.
