"When you love someone, you love all of them. You gotta love everything about them, not just the good things, but the bad things, too. It's how you find forgiveness." This book tells a very inspiring story. The story of betrayal, redemption, love, and forgiveness. A story about loving yourself and having the strength to live for yourself at not for someone else. I give this book 3.5 stars. Still Crazy had a good storyline, kept me intrigued, and had a predictable but satisfying ending. Not a topic I normally would choose to read but enjoyable enough to finish in less than a week. Had some religious references. I found it refreshing to read about how one's faith could guide someone and have an impact on people's lives. One difficulty that I had was that It jumps from one setting to another constantly making it hard to follow. Some scenes are more like fillers and weren’t really needed. There were a couple more issues that could easily be fixed with some editing. At times Julie and the characters were difficult to connect to because there was very little description when it came to how they acted, interacted, and displayed emotion which made them come out flat. This is not a bad book, it has some strong writing but I do think it needs more development. But nonetheless, it had great characters and character development. It did hold my attention, and there were some sweet and emotional moments in there. Would I recommend it to someone? Yes, I would. I received an ARC in exchange for my review. The review here contains my honest thoughts and opinions.
