In Still Crazy by Judy Prescott Marshall, one thing is for sure. The main character Julie loves God and the characters love to be in love. The book opens up to a hot start, with the reader never doubting that Julie's husband Dan is cheating. The book does cool off rather quickly and then moves slowly, never quite getting into the juciness of the ways of his cheating. the book is careful not to make Dan look too bad, but that he is a caring cheater.
The episodes of Julia throwing up were lost on me and I wanted them to result in a pregnancy, but nah..... I had to accept that symbolically the bakery was her child. And why did she stay so long with Dan if she knew he was cheating???
Everything happens for a reason, and starting over is always good. But the all of a suddeness of Chad an odd twist. It was clear that Julie was not ready and he was as pushy as the big bad wolf. Poof! be gone Chad! I wasn't glad with the twists toward the end, but it was kinda predictable. This book was heavy on the kisses, by everyone!!! Enjoyable book and relaxing scenery that never gets old.
