I liked this book, but I feel like I wanted to like it more than I did. There was a lot going on in this book. I feel like Julie's two lives were two separate books. They had a totally different feeling and I'm not sure if that was intentional or not. I liked Julie's life in Rhode Island better than her life in New York. I loved her bakery and her workers, but she became her own person when she was in Rhode Island. Then she threw everything away and got back together with Dan. No that's not true. Dan moved to her inn and has to earn her trust, but I feel like she forgave him way too easy. Also why did everyone from her old life forgive her so easily? If it was more realistic someone would have been mad and called her out for just leaving. Solid book, but the character actions didn't seem realistic to me. I wish Julie walked away from Dan and was independent. Dan didn't deserve her.
