Still Crazy by Judy Prescott Marshall was an... interesting read. It wasnt the type of book I would normally read, and it showed through my experience

2/5 stars.

I know how much effort authors put into their novels, I know how much work it is, and I know that this is an indie author so I don’t want to sit here and tell you this book is horrible, because it’s not. This book just wasn’t for me.

We spend the first chunk of this book with our main character suspecting her husband of cheating, but not confronting him for a year, that entire year Julie gets worse and worse mentally, we learn that she has extremely bad separation anxiety and that she’s very much so a women of god. Also, she’s perfect at everything and so stunning it’s easy to fall in love with her.

I was bored. I was frustrated, I was screaming at the main character the entire book, the resolution (imo) wasn’t good, it was actually very disappointing. And everyone in the book is over the top friendly and willing to give their lives up to follow Julies plans.

This is the story of going through the price and emotions of your husband cheating on you after 30 years of marriage 8 known times, and staying with him.

I was frustrated this entire book. I know others will like it, so I’m not recommending you don’t check it out if you love books like this where everything just goes right even when it’s going wrong. It just wasn’t my type of book.
