Still Crazy reminds me of a Hallmark movie in a novel, and I love Hallmark movies!
Still Crazy is the wonderful story of love, heartache, finding oneself, starting over, and giving back.
In this story we meet Julie Holliday, a happily married bakery owner who discovers her husband, Dan Holliday, has been unfaithful. We read along as Julie nurses her broken heart, suffers from panic attacks, and bravely decides to start over. Julie transitions from running a bakery to building and running an inn in New England. Along the way we met a cast of friends and people who are with her throughout this stage of her life. Julie is a good friend and so generous to all of people to help her get the inn up and running. We continue to read and wonder - will Julie find love again?? You will have to read this book to find out!!
Julie is a likeable, relatable character who I just loved reading about.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance novels, feel good stories, and the occasional Hallmark movie!
I would like to thank Bookish First and the author Judy Prescott Marshall for the ARC of Still Crazy. I would also like to thank Judy for the thank you card, gorgeous bookmark, and teabag that she so generously tucked inside the cover! I knew right away that I was an instant fan of this wonderful author!
Looking forward to reading future books by Judy Prescott Marshall.
