This book jumps right into the action without getting to know the characters much first. While there’s nothing wrong with this, I have a hard time connecting with Julie even though I feel for her in this situation. It frustrates me that she doesn’t just ask him or at least talk to Lynnae. I’m just having a hard time connecting to her. The concept of the book is interesting. I’m intrigued enough to continue reading this on Kindle Unlimited but not sure I’d actually buy the book.
