This book was not really for me. While I sympathized with Julie and enjoyed her character, my hatred for Dan won over that in the end. I cannot see myself finishing a book with a character I loathe so much, but that is just my opinion. If that doesn't bother you, definitely give this book a shot; the writing is beautiful and Julie is great.
