Holy cow! First off, I hated how the book jumped straight into the “action” of the story. There was no lead up or getting to know the characters before the major plot catalyst occurred. It was very jarring to me. Meanwhile, all I could think about while reading the opening was how melodramatic Julie was being about the whole thing, especially if she had suspected Dan of cheating in the past. Weak character and weak plot.
