Julie declares her love for her husband Dan from page one of the book. But then the feelings of betrayal began, and I wasn’t sure what was real and what was in her mind. Dan seems like the perfect husband, doting, attentive and a good cook. Julie seems to have the perfect life, except she knows that her husband is having an affair. The puzzle is that she doesn’t want to confront him because she doesn’t want to lose her “perfect life” that couldn’t be too perfect if she is so convinced that he is cheating on her. I’m intrigued by what is really going on and the hints that are given. Interesting beginning and a beautifully enticing cover!
