Still Crazy begins with a woman ruminating over her marriage: Is her husband cheating? Should she leave him? What would that mean for her life? The focus is on her inner thoughts, rather than her actions or interactions with other characters. The first-person voice makes it feel more like a memoir than a novel.

The cover is pretty, but I personally don't like the word "crazy." Often its use can perpetuate stigma around mental illness. Not having read the entire book, I'm not sure I can weigh in on the nature of its use here, but it would likely to be enough to stop me from picking this book up in a store.
