As soon as I read the word "affairs" in the synopsis, I said "nope". I don't like family drama-type novels, and I don't like contemporary books. Let alone a book about a cheater. It triggers me. And I couldn't completely finish the excerpt, so I just skimmed it. Not for me at all.
