As a young adult I witnessed my parents divorce, my father had numerous affairs and again and again she would forgive him. My husband in my 30s after we had four children, had an affair while we were separated and got his next wife pregnant. There is one thing evident,; the MC needed to communicate better with her husband. She needed to confront him with the note, not crawl into bed and cry. And her assistant is suspicious to me, who is the father of her child? There are more questions than answers at this point that is very intriguing. I too wanted to just be a wife and mother from the time I was a little girl, but I certainly wasnt going to stick around while he had children with other women. I imagine I will be hoping the MC grows personally and stops living in this mans shadow.
