After reading this first look I am intrigued. The blurb did not sell me on this book and in fact turned me off as I thought it would be all rooted in religion and God. The excerpt brought me back to what could be a promising plot. I still feel as though this book could go either way, especially with the last line leading me to believe her friends will go one way. Also, the title to me is a bit of a turn off. I will be curious to see how this plot plays out.
