I really found this an enjoyable read! The overarching story and romance aspect of it was kind of predictable, but that didn't take away or make it boring. For me it's that thing when you read a well-loved trope, but even though you know how it goes, you still love seeing it in stories. It's got girl too cool for cinnamon roll boy, but he pulls her in with his charm energy. I liked the characters, and I especially liked Winter. He's a charismatic character, and that was even true for me as a reader. And there were these very human and vulnerable moments with him that make him even more likable and relatable, but also these moments where he defies expectations and shows he's not meant to be underestimated either. I really liked him and following his journey throughout.

And while the falling in love with a popstar story isn't completely brand new, what made this story even more fun is that there is a whole spy/crime plot with twists that I absolutely did not see coming. This story does a good job at blending genres, and it definitely had me interested in the whole spy/mystery element. I won't spoil any more than that. Definitely one I'd recommend though!
