I was so excited to read this book. I mean who wouldn’t be excited to read a spy romance where a bodyguard and superstar fall in love? It sounds amazing. And honestly, this book might be amazing. But I wouldn’t know because I didn’t finish it. The beginning of the book should be one of the most interesting parts of the book because it needs to attract and keep a reader. It attracted me but it couldn’t keep me. I could see every single “plot twist” coming which just made it boring for me. There was nothing to look forward to.

I also thought that the book was too YA for me. It was aimed at YA but I usually don’t find that many problems with how they are written. With this one, it was just trying too hard to be something it wasn’t. I think this would be a great book for a 15-year-old but not for me. I do feel a little bad giving it such a low rating because of that but this is only a small part of why I rated it so lowly. The main reason I gave it so low was because of the predictability and how it really couldn’t keep me hooked on it.
