This was a really fun and fast paced read. I've been a fan of Marie LU for ages now and I'm happy to say that this book did not disappoint, even though it is very different from her other YA sci-fi stories from back in the day. The characters are witty in a way that I wish I could be in real life, and I appreciated that they were older than 15 in this book. Did they sometimes act 15...yes, but that's not always a bad thing! It made the book really easy to read, I didn't feel like it was a chose to finish. The action was fast paced, and surprisingly heart pounding! I never wanted to just skim those sections like I sometimes do in other books. I'm excited to see where this series goes and keep up with these characters! I like the cover okay, I think it could have been better, but it certainly could have been much worse. All in all this was a fun and fast paced book if recommend for summer vacation!
