Another awesome novel by Marie Lu! Although this one has a different type setting and genre than others I have read, the contemporary setting and plot are amazing and beautifully written. I’m really liking the NA bodyguard romance. What I love the most about these (and others) of Marie’s characters are how well developed they are throughout the story. Winter and Sydney are no different! They have such depth and emotion that makes it easy to connect to them and enjoy their story. They have such different backgrounds but come together in a beautiful way after a good bit of working out their differences. I’m a fan of the duel POV because I love to get all the inside thoughts and experiences of as many characters as I can! At first I thought the plot line was a little to hilarious to be taken seriously. A pop star going undercover? No way. But there was so much action and so many thrills that I was always on the edge of my seat. It is definitely fast paced so get ready for a wild time. A great book that I would definitely recommend.
