I had a minor Marie Lu obsession in middle school so I walked into this fully expecting to be disappointed. Marie Lu mostly writes fantasy or futuristic stuff, and I was scared a book so blandly realistic as this, even if it had spies, But I was pleasantly surprised to greatly enjoy this book. I'm hooked on Winter's story and I can't wait to meet Jackal (who I assume is Sydney).
