The book started out really fun, with a pop star and his adoring fans...and then I got invested in him because Winter is written like he a real person, not a caricature of what a pop star should be. Then the Panacea Group showed up. CIA? Not really...they do stuff the CIA won't, apparently. And they know about Winter's brother and "what really happened to him." WHAT really happened to him? And just like that, the reader is in, hook, line, and sinker!

I thought the cover art was fabulous--trendy, but layered, with the pop star (Winter I assume!) in the foreground and the blonde--Sauda--watching to the side. Yet she's portrayed much more as a person than a spy--which makes me wonder how this pairing is going to go from enemies to more. This starts energetic and just keeps building. Excellent!
