I got the Stars and Smoke digital sampler from Fierce Reads earlier this month. I didn’t want to get too spoiled yet, so I only read the first few pages. The character of Winter Young reminds me of the classic Marie Lu love interest. Specifically, he reminds me of Hideo Tanaka, my personal favorite love interest. I can’t wait to meet Marie Lu on the Stars and Smoke tour, and to fly through the rest of the book!
