I think the book lost my attention after the first six words in the description: This smoldering enemies-to-lovers novel... That just feels like an overused plot that ends with two people who initially strongly disliking each other falling madly in love, and into bed, after the first half of the book. Yadda, yadda, yadda. The romance genre is one I seriously dislike, and while the author threw in some danger and intrigue to make it more enticing, it's still a no go for me.
