I have read and enjoyed Marie Lu books, so I already know she is a talented author. Enemies to lovers is in my opinion the most exciting trope, and the dynamic of a popular superstar and a spy screams tension. In the First Impression, we get a glimpse of Winter's relationship with fame and I can sense an unhealthy attachment to it. Winter feels obligated to keep producing music and being important, and I am interested to see how this develops throughout the story.
