I don’t usually do Young Adult fiction. On a whim, I read the first look of Stars and Smoke. I am hooked to find out what happens to Winter as he decides to work as an agent for the Panacea Group. The CIA contracts the Panacea Group to do work they cannot do. I liked that we already know that Winter, a super star rocker is searching to resolve his relationship with his mother, come to terms with his older brother’s death, and find meaning for his life. I could see this book be the springboard to a series. I am hooked!
