Marie Lu is a fantastic writer, and her audience will love this I’m sure. Personally, I have a hard time taking “superstars” seriously, or thinking that they could be undercover agents. The cover is pretty, but it feels like everything is leaning towards AI art. I don’t know if that’s what this is, but something feels off about it, inauthentic. I wouldn’t be interested in reading further.
