I was drawn in by the cover, and then found the description to be kind of hokey. About halfway through the first chapter, I had preordered the book. Winter's emotions regarding his status as a pop star are so beautifully written and blend perfectly with Sydney's snark. I'm already in love with the writing style and story and will probably go read the rest of Marie Lu's books.
