To start, the cover is beautiful. Marie Lu always gets some of the most beautiful cover art! I will admit that I focused on the cover and didn't read the summary before diving in. I was reading the first few pages and was wondering how Marie Lu could bring her usual intrigue and dedication to a boy band novel. And then I found my answer! I knew something more was up.
Looking back at the summary, I wish we had been introduced to the second main character in this little snippet.
I'm brought back to my childhood of Gallagher Girls and Alex Rider, but more adult with only the level of execution that Marie Lu can bring. Can't wait to read more!
