I’m surprising myself by saying this, but I would read this book! The writing is smooth and engaging, and simmering romance seeping in espionage meets pop culture sounds like a fun and light read versus the dark thrillers I’m usually drawn to. I’m new to Marie Lu’s work and excited to see where this story goes. The book cover is strikingly lovely and sleek - giving romantic YA vibes.
