I've loved Marie Lu in the past (the Legend and Young Elites trilogies were some of my favorites and Kingdom of Back was hauntingly beautiful), but her sci-fi always seems to be a miss for me. I wasn't a fan of Warcross either and I wish this one worked for me, but unfortunately...
