I don’t know if Lu’s writing isn’t for me or if I’m just getting too old for the superstar / bodyguard (spy) trope. I found the intro between the two Agents to be extremely cheesy and the opening chapter to be not much better. I loved the cover and some of Lu’s previous work, I think this one is just for a younger demographic.
