I typically really like Marie Lu, but even just the cover of this book was different from her usual style. After seeing the cover, reading the synopsis, then the first look, it's a bit different than what I was expecting. The writing is still good, and the story seems like YA Emily Henry. I do want to finish, and would probably read another like this by her.
