This books is a lovely story of finding and accepting one's self. The main character, Ellie, could be me, or you, or someone you grew up with. Uncomfortable in her own skin and ridiculed by schoolmates because of her size.

On top of the wonderful storyline is the way the book is written,or rather laid out. Ellie wants to be a poet and the story is in the format of short snippets written as if she were documenting her life as poems.
