The book was written beautifully, and I loved the message that the book sent. Starfish gave me a whole new perspective on what it is like for overweight, obese, and extremely obese people in today's society that I might not have learned about otherwise.

At first I thought the book was some sort of poetry because the writing weirdly cuts off and starts on new lines, even in the middle of sentences throughout the book, but I believe this was just because it was an unedited copy of the book.
