My review is based on the first impression sample only. I have not read a full copy of this book.
With that said, here is my review of the sample: This sample was a breath of fresh air. I think the author did a really good job creating a likeable character. I wanted to root for her because she was so relatable and I could easily empathize with her. I think the author did a good job of describing the challenges of being a plus-sized female in a world that pushes the idea that the only body type is a slimmer one when that is very unrealistic and is exclusionary. The pacing of the sample was good and held my interest, which is always a plus.
The cover is beautiful and would look good on any bookshelf. It clearly indicates what the story is going to be about and it, alone, encourages and celebrates body positivity. I look forward to purchasing a copy of this book.
