Navigating high school is hard, but when you are "plus-size" it can be brutal. Her best friend has moved away and she feels so alone, until Ellie has been teased and bullied about her weight by her peers and family (except her dad). The only place she can be weightless is her pool. This book is so relatable. Told in verse, it will appeal to anyone who has been at the mercy of school bullies and the butt of everyone's jokes. I can't wait to read the rest of the book.
