When I read the description, I will admit it, I wasn't intrigued and I definitely didn't think it was a book I'd enjoy. Yet, as soon as I started reading I was hooked. I think the writing style and the choice to have it written in verse was a magnificent decision- each snapshot into Ellie's life was very well done! Growing up, I had a terrible view of my own body and seeing Ellie go through some similar situations is heartbreaking but important.
