I LOVE this cover, and the cute little pug in the first few pages of the book before the story begins. I think this tackles an important issue that a lot of young girls face, and I'm glad to see more representation like this in stories — I wish there had been more books like this when I was younger. To be honest, the format of this book, which is almost like a series of poems, was a little off-putting to me but overall, this seems like it'd be accessible to young readers.
