First of all, I love the format of this book and how every chapter is written in verse. I feel like it keeps the reader focused on the words and it feels like you are reading a very personal diary entry. That being said some of these first chapters or poems were so heartbreaking. Having to read how others' negative words can effect another person's self esteem was really difficult to read. This looks like a book that has some deep life lessons in it.
